There’s an evening in November when the heat finally lets go. The air softens, the light turns amber a little sooner, and everyone reaches for a light sweater without quite knowing why. It’s the season clearing its throat.
Come and live it with us.
This night is built around the simple joy of sitting down together. It starts small: a bite of fig and honey-glazed goat cheese on crisp crostini, sweet and tangy in the same breath. Then a bowl of pumpkin soup, golden and silky, and a winter harvest salad that tastes like the market at its best.
The main event is French Kebab Hala. Beef braised slowly until it yields to the lightest touch, sweetened by onions cooked down to deep amber and scented with warming spice, laid over fragrant rice and finished under a blanket of melted cheese. It’s the kind of dish that makes the table go quiet for a moment, in the best way.
Then we play. Crème de Café arrives, silky and unapologetically coffee-rich, alongside a plate of sugar cookies left bare on purpose. Pick up the icing, make a mess, make something lovely. No one is grading.
We close the way good evenings should, unhurried, with warm minted Karkadeh and fragrant herbs, ruby-red and fresh, passed around while the conversation drifts wherever it likes.
About Nafas
Nafas is where traditions meet and nobody asks for permission. We take dishes with deep roots from different cultures and set them side by side, then play. We mix what was never meant to mix, taste what happens, and keep going until something new appears that belongs only to us.
In our private dinners, we invite those who like to wonder what if. What if this met that? How far can a flavor stretch before it surprises you? Some experiments land beautifully. Some teach us something. All of them push past the limit we thought was there.
Come hungry and curious. Every plate is a discovery, and the last one hasn’t been invented yet.
